Type: Group project
Location: Chinatown, Oakland, CA
Skills: data analysis, ethnography, graphics

Our study of Chinatown, Oakland determined public space usage through visual analysis, ethnographic methods, and counting techniques. This information was supplemented by external sources such as ACS census data.

Our team created a Request for Proposals (RFP) to frame the need to create a system that encourages retention (“stickiness”) of the bustling circulation.
